San Vicente is a nice city of about 50,000 people. Its most prominent feature is the Tower (Torre) of San Vicente, which was damaged in the 2001 earthquakes and has just been repaired. From the top, there are wonderful views of all around the city and surrounding campo, and San Vicente's overlooking volcano, Chichontepeque (a name which means 'large breast', following the universal tradition of mountain-naming).
